Internet:
The Internet (always with a capital "I") is a collection of networks following the TCP/IP protocol. This protocol is captured in a set of documents called "Request for Comments" (RFCs). Anyone with a computer, appropriate software, and a phone or network connection can link to and use the Internet.

Intranet:
An "intranet" is a private network the uses the Internet’s TCP/IP protocols, and may or may not be connected to the Internet.

Hypertext:
Hypertext is text within a document or WEB page that, when clicked on with a mouse, launches a new WEB page or new window.

A hyperlink is the more general manifestation of hypertext, and can be a graphic or symbol as well as text, that can launch a WEB or program.

Web Browser:
A Web Browser is a computer program that allows a person to communicate with a WEB site using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) through an address called a Universal Resource Locator (URLs). Web Browsers convert the WEB, which is written in a language called Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), into a visual display. Browsers also follow links within WEB pages and can provide feedback and download files. Examples of WEB Browsers are "Netscape Navigatorâ " and "Internet Explorerâ "

Home Page:
A Home Page is like the cover of a book, with the introduction and the table of contents integrated together. It is usually the first WEB page accessed by a browser, and is linked to additional pages, if any.

These terms have to do with Internet protocols and technologies, and require more background than we can provide here.
